Many EMS providers don’t know what is required of them at the scene of an obvious death (10-79). Besides the specific steps and notifications that need to be made, dealing with a grieving family is very stressful and difficult. What you say and do will reflect on the department and you personally. This class will take the student through everything they need to know when on the scene of a 10-79 and the appropriate way to deal with the family.
